We Are On A Mission
Why We Do What We do
Cedar Bridge Foundation was created by two moms who shared the same vision, to open doors of opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities to live meaningful, engaged, and fulfilling lives. As our children reached adulthood, we found ourselves facing a difficult reality. While there were programs, services, and activities available for children, there were very few designed specifically for adults with special needs. The transition from school to adult life often meant fewer opportunities for social connection, personal growth, and community involvement. We recognized this gap and we knew something had to change. Motivated by love for our children and inspired by the resilience of individuals with developmental disabilities, we came together with one purpose: to build something lasting. Cedar Bridge. What began as two moms sharing concerns and dreams around a kitchen table has grown into a vibrant foundation that touches lives every day. Our story is one of hope, determination, and community. Together, we are building pathways of opportunity and understanding — Changing Lives, Making a Difference, and Creating Opportunities for the incredible individuals we serve.
