About Cedar Bridge Foundation, Inc.

Cedar Bridge Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and neurodiversity through advocacy, skill-building programs, inclusive social opportunities, and community connection. The Foundation strives to create meaningful pathways that promote independence, dignity, and lifelong growth for individuals with exceptional needs.

At Cedar Bridge Foundation, we prioritize transparency, accountability, and open communication with our community. While we do not host open meetings or board sessions, we ensure that key information is accessible and that our stakeholders are kept informed in meaningful and respectful ways.

We provide regular updates through newsletters, social media, website updates, and community outreach. In addition, financial summaries and other organizational documents are available upon request. This approach allows us to maintain clarity, privacy, and professionalism in how we share information.

We also uphold strong nonprofit governance practices, including meeting or exceeding United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) standards. Our operations reflect integrity, thoughtful leadership, and a dedication to responsible stewardship of resources.

2026-2027 CBF Code of Conduct

The 2026–2027 Cedar Bridge Foundation Code of Conduct is now available for participants, parents, and caregivers to download and sign. This document reflects our commitment to the highest standards of safety, respect, inclusion, and accountability across all programs and activities. By reviewing and signing the Code of Conduct, you help us uphold an environment rooted in dignity, integrity, and shared responsibility for our community. CBF Code of Conduct Summary

Cedar Bridge Foundation (CBF) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants, families, and caregivers. This Code of Conduct applies to all CBF programs, events, and communications.

 

What We Expect

All participants, parents, guardians, and caregivers agree to:

  • Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and dignity

  • Follow directions from CBF staff and volunteers

  • Use appropriate language and behavior

  • Respect privacy and confidentiality

  • Support a safe and welcoming environment

Safety & Behavior

The following are not permitted:

  • Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination

  • Physical aggression, threats, or unsafe behavior

  • Disruptive conduct or refusal to follow safety instructions

Safety concerns must be reported to CBF leadership immediately.

Boundaries

  • Personal space and boundaries must be respected

  • Sexual or inappropriate behavior is not permitted

  • Redirection by staff or volunteers must be followed

Supervision

  • CBF does not provide one-to-one supervision or personal care

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervision when needed

  • Participants may not supervise other participants unless approved in advance by CBF leadership

Substance-Free & Solicitation Policy

  • Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vaping, and related products are prohibited

  • Soliciting donations, promoting businesses, or recruiting for outside organizations is not permitted without prior approval

Enforcement

CBF may take action to protect participant safety, including redirection, removal from an activity, or suspension from participation.
