What is in the Name
The name Cedar Bridge Foundation carries deep meaning that reflects both our values and our mission. The Cedar Tree symbolizes strength, resilience, and growth, qualities we see every day in the individuals and families we serve. Just as the cedar tree stands tall and rooted, we believe in building a strong foundation of support and encouragement that helps individuals with developmental disabilities reach their full potential. The Bridge represents connection, progress, and transition, linking people, resources, and opportunities. It also signifies the vital journey into adulthood for individuals with special needs and our ongoing mission to bridge the gap between limited opportunities and a future filled with inclusion, purpose, and possibility. Together, Cedar Bridge stands for empowerment, belonging, and hope, a reminder that when we come together as a community, we can build bridges that truly change lives.
