DESCRIPTION:Date: July 18\, 2025 Time: 2pm-3:30pm \nThis session is canceled due to Kitchen closure! \nCooking with Confidence – Cohort B (Beginner’s Level)- Session #3 \nBridge to the Future: Cooking with Confidence – Cohort A is a Beginner’s Class is an 8-week introductory cooking program designed for adults with developmental disabilities who are new to the kitchen or have limited experience. This hands-on life skills course focuses on building foundational cooking knowledge while promoting independence\, communication\, and teamwork. \nEach week introduces a new meal theme—such as breakfast\, lunch\, snacks\, or simple desserts—while teaching essential kitchen safety\, basic food prep techniques\, and ServSafe food handling practices. Participants work together in a supportive environment\, guided by trained volunteers\, to build confidence and enjoy the fun of cooking. \nThis pilot program is made possible through the support of generous donors\, fundraisers\, and volunteers\, and reflects Cedar Bridge Foundation’s mission of advocacy\, skill development\, and community inclusion for individuals with exceptional needs. \nThis Program is a pilot program.
